Re: Everyone, meet Valerie

81k miles this morning. Went to Buttonwillow for the first time last October (S2K Challenge). Tons of fun. Definitely struggled finding the right line through Phil Hill so I'm still cleaning dust out of car now  https://i.imgur.com/6eJmMzY.jpg I picked up a set of Tire Rack C4s for dirt cheap t...

Not the best picture, but this is how the car sits as of last night: http://i.imgur.com/3VbGMDh.jpg Lowered the car slightly, put the hardtop back on (took it off in February), and picked up a wonderful vanity plate  http://i.imgur.com/nErRB9G.jpg?1 The car was out of commission for a while as ...

Re: Ohlins DFV Discussion

There was some discussion on S2ki a while back about rebuild intervals for the DFV with Ohlins officially stating 20k miles, but up to 40k if the car is street driven. I recently got my shocks revalved by Doug Brenner in SoCal and had him rebuild the shocks while everything was apart since my set wa...

Re: UK Berlina Black MY2005 AP1½

20mm? Wow, and I was worried about the car being too high once I switched to 10k and tried out Sakebomb's rear preload recommendations.

Re: UK Berlina Black MY2005 AP1½

Do you have the ability to go lower in the rear with 10k springs and 10mm of preload? Ride height and wheel offset looks great.

What changes were made to the rear Ohlins other than the 10k rear springs?

Re: Everyone, meet Valerie

November was fun a month. Put on about 3,000 miles driving between SD and NorCal, did two track days, and two autocrosses. The car didn't skip a beat, but I really need a new set of tires and pads  Thunderhill/Blacktrax Test and Tune: Possibly one of the most exciting things I've done, ever. Ha...

Fantastic looking car. Berlina is absolutely gorgeous when you can keep it spotless

I love my Gernzhuast, and it sounds fantastic hooked up to the OEM mufflers. Definitely worth it if you can get a hold of one
